I had my first haircut by Michelle and her students 3 years ago, and I immediately became a regular. Michelle always guides her students in a caring and supportive manner, and it has been my pleasure to watch each eager batch of students grow and develop their skills to become confident and competent by the end of their course. Somehow, Michelle makes each haircut fun for both the student and the client. Every few weeks, I willingly drive from one end of the coast to the other just to have Michelle's students cut my hair. Any extra time taken for a student to learn under Michelle's guidance is more than made up for by seeing each student progress to become "barbershop ready" by the end of their study program. I highly recommend Michelle and The Barber Academy for a great haircut and a wonderful experience!
Studying at the Barber Academy was truly a life changing experience! The amount of knowledge and skills that you will acquire is endless. Michelle was my trainer and she was the most patient, caring, funny and just filled with so much knowledge from her extensive experience that she loves to pass on. Ask a lot of questions, be present and turn up as much as possible and you will truly excel in Barbering! It is a very safe and encouraging environment, I am now so much more confident not only as a Barber but as a person thanks to this course and Michelle being my mentor!
